The Resort at Erie Landing to open in May
Diamond Properties of Mount Kisco, N.Y. purchased the once-prosperous Erie Island Resort & Marina and has grand plans to return the Bay Township hotel, cabins, campsites and marina on the Portage River to its former glory. The first step is a new branding, naming the 375-acre property The Resort at Erie Landing. “We’re looking to give some love to the property,” said Jim Diamond, head of the diversified real estate company. Diamond Properties has holdings around the country that range from medical offices to retail stores, RV parks and bowling alleys, including three in Northeast Ohio.
